Playground Maps sound familiar? Maybe you caught us on Good Morning America painting 20- by 30-foot maps on school playgrounds and other asphalt or concrete surfaces.
Playground Maps are available of the United States and the Solar System and are often accompanied by Electronic Maps.
Electronic Maps teach kids the correlation between the 50 United States and their capital cities. The portable 22-by-21-inch US map enables it to be used in virtually any location.
Both map projects create a fun and interesting way to spark students’ interest in learning about geography and the world around them.
As a Playground Maps volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to paint the maps as well as assemble and distribute the Electronic Maps.
