Pioneers Headquarters was notified late Friday afternoon, March 5th that Waterfield Bank has been taken over by the FDIC effective immediately.  Waterfield Bank is a front door operations entity for the Pioneer Banking Center.  Our understanding is that no Pioneer’s money resides at Waterfield Bank.  Instead our funds are flowed thrrough Waterfield to other banks such as Bank of America, Citicorp and others. We are diligently requesting written confirmation of this.  We will be posting additional communications as we receive information.  For current information from the FDIC, click here.
